Homework (21 April)

1) English :
a) model composition given to you today (Betrayed): Read through the text carefully and use a dictionary to find out the unknown words for their meanings. Commit to learning some good phrases so that you could use them in your composition writing in future.
Write a similar composition starting with the word 'Never" and ends with "Never" or use other word as the starter sentence.
b) Little red dot (14/4) - page 2 - cut out the activity part and paste onto foolscap - answer the questions given. This is what we discussed for stimulus-based oral conversation today.
You have to hand in tomorrow.
c) Bring spelling book for spelling
d) Bring back your Learning sheet Unit 6.
e) mconline homework : deadline is on 25 April. Must do.


2) Maths : Do the "Speed Test" within 1 hour
                : Bring back your Maths file duly signed by your parents and complete all corrections.

Today, we discussed a movie "Batman begins" - this movie is about justice - It happened during a time of chaos and corruption seems to be the norm in the society. The rich got richer and the poor got even poorer. It is the story of how Bruce Wayne returned to his hometown to clean the place from ills of the society without resorting to killing and violence. It is another version of Robinhood. See how the figure of Batman is similar or different from the figure Robinhood. There is English subtitle for you to read the words while learning English at the same time. I hope this motivates you to read more to unleash the talent and creativity in you and spur you to create more ideas for writing. Enjoy watching.
